Paper Ticket or Access Card - Help!

I used to be a season ticket holder but i am now a Claret member.
I still have my old access card and use that ID for my Claret Membership.
I purchased a ticket for Thursdays game which still hasn't turned up then I thought has it been put on my access card?
So does anyone know if I should be getting a paper ticket or using my access card.

It absolutely BAFFLES me that they are still not issuing tickets in PDF format to peoples' email so that they can print them themselves.
This has been going on Down Under for some years now.

We had paper tickets for Domzale they didn't work, some were getting ones with no barcodes !

If they couldn't get tickets out in time, they should have offered the option to print them yourself, like the last game.

We have so far
2 STs with paper tickets
2 STs without paper tickets
Which means another person going to the TO to check the cas without tickets are OK to use !

I checked on Monday and they told me they had been added to my season ticket...got home and got paper tickets....priceless! !!!

All a bit daft by the ticket office, I got my academy card today for entry, but my son has not. I get an e mail saying saying his will be posted, but if does not arrive go to ticket office and collect. Good job I'm off tomorrow and he's so excited he wants to get that well early doors to avoid the wait for the shop.
Previous tickets have been sent through with a week to spare. Obviously a delay in the supply of cards presentation box. Members card comes in a box light a big Swan Vesta box of matches...quite a clever design though.

That is the conclusion I had come to, which means leaving work early (I have asked the ticket office to reimburse my lost earnings) to get the train up to London. Then try to entertain an over excited six year old for hours in 30 degree heat/thunderstorms. I have let the ticket office know my feelings.

I have been told the tickets will be added to me membership card. Which hasn't arrived yet. It will arrive tomorrow, presumably after I've left for work, so I have to assume I don't have tickets and have to queue up to get them. What were peoples experiences of doing this so far this season? I'm guessing it's not how i would aim to spend the build up to my six year old son's first visit.

I'm pretty sure the new ticketing site told me my tickets for this coming thursday were being loaded onto my card(s)
I could be wrong, however...

I had the same problem for yesterday. Phoned the club and they advised that you cannot use old season ticket/membership cards. They were sending paper tickets out for Sunday but if they were not received then you have to go to the ticket office on matchday

I'm with beppe on this one...on the old ticket site it told you if was on access card or to your season ticket...
for the first game the season tickets hadn't been sent out, I would assume it will be loaded to the card, but this is west ham...
